• Reported PM Shri Modi Ji referred to the RSS as the “biggest NGO in the world,” praising its century of service in nation-building.
• This mention marked a first in 12 years that the RSS was publicly lauded during an Independence Day address from the Red Fort.

MISSION – SUDARSHAN CHAKRA

• India’s own “Iron Dome” system — a multi-layered defensive framework designed to:
  • Protect against missile attacks, drone strikes, cyber threats, and other modern warfare techniques.
  • Integrate surveillance, cyber defense, and physical security infrastructure.
• Inspired by the mythological weapon of Lord Krishna, it symbolizes shielding the nation from all threats.
• Builds upon existing systems like the Integrated Air Command and Control System, which has already proven effective (e.g., during Operation Sindoor).
